People sometimes ask me why I make jewelry with words on it instead of just jewelry. The truth is, words have always meant something to me. Growing up, the things spoken over me, the good and the hard, shaped how I saw myself long after I heard them.
I started Kelly Praise because I wanted to make something you could hold onto, literally. Not just jewelry that looks nice in a photo, but a piece you put on in the morning and are reminded, without having to think too hard about it, of who you are and whose you are.
Every affirmation ring, bracelet and necklace we make carries something intentional: a name, a scripture, a truth someone needed to remember. Some pieces are for the wearer. Many are gifts, from a mother to a daughter, a friend to a friend, one woman to herself on a day she needed reminding.
If you are choosing a piece for someone, or for yourself, know that it was made with that same intention. That is the whole point.
